I started playing this game about a week ago and I am only about half-way through the main story. I still own the Gamecube original but there have been a multitude of improvements that make this the superior version in my eyes. I can't get over how good the soundtrack is. Paper Mario is an exquisite and uniquely weird for a Mario game. There's a reason people have been clamoring for its return for 2 decades.
Boy. The depths. If the entire game was just in the depths I could have called it a masterpiece. But there is also the surface. And, the sky. What an incredible game. The sheer magnitude of content is completely bonkers. Plus, Link can just build janky solutions to any puzzles he gets stuck with!
I messed around so much and was able to solve some puzzles here and there!
